Gemini by Google

Connect TrainerDay to Gemini

Manage your training calendar and view your athlete data directly in Google Gemini.

Requirements: Gemini Advanced (Google One AI Premium). MCP support in Gemini is currently in beta.

Setup Steps

Open Gemini Settings

Go to gemini.google.com. Click the Settings gear icon.

Go to Extensions / MCP

Navigate to Extensions or Connected Tools and click Add MCP Server.

Enter the TrainerDay Server URL

Paste this URL as the MCP server address:

https://api.trainerday.com/mcp

Authorize Access

You'll be redirected to TrainerDay to log in and approve access. Select the permissions you want and click Allow.

Start Training with AI

Ask Gemini things like "What's on my training calendar this week?" or "Add a 1-hour endurance ride to next Monday."

Once connected, Gemini can read and manage your TrainerDay data:

🚴 View your athlete profile and FTP
📅 Read your training calendar
➕ Add workouts to your calendar
✎ Update or reschedule events
🗑 Remove calendar events
📈 View training load (coming soon)
